Job summary

DoorDash seeks a goal-oriented Collections Analyst to manage a high volume of international customer accounts, collect outstanding balances, resolve payment issues, and prepare accurate cash collection forecasts while meeting performance targets.

The ideal candidate has experience collecting from international accounts in English, a basic understanding of accounting, and the ability to prioritize effectively under pressure.

Qualifications

• Experience collecting from international accounts in English.
• Strong understanding of accounts receivable, invoices, credit memos and payment application.
• Experience preparing cash collection forecasts and tracking commitments.
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.

Responsibilities

• Manage a large portfolio of international customers and follow up on past-due invoices via email and phone.
• Communicate professionally in English to resolve delays, negotiate payment commitments, and maintain relationships.
• Review statements, reconcile balances, investigate discrepancies, unapplied payments, and disputes.
• Prepare and update cash collection forecasts based on commitments, history, and risks.
• Meet KPIs for collections, past-due reduction, follow-up activity, and forecast accuracy.
• Maintain accurate records of collection efforts and account status.
• Collaborate with Billing, Accounting, Sales and other teams to resolve payment issues.
• Identify accounts at risk and unresolved disputes and elevate accordingly.
