Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager in Mexico to lead and develop a team of Amazon Associates within a distribution warehouse. You will coach, mentor, and support staff to uphold safety, quality, and productivity while aligning with company goals.

You will manage shift-based operations (4x3 or 5x2), communicate policies, and drive continuous improvement with cross-functional partners. A Bachelor’s degree and English fluency are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Fluent in English (speaking, writing, reading) and ability to take direction in English.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop a team of Amazon Associates in a distribution warehouse environment.
• Communicate policies to Associates and act as the primary information source for the team, maintaining compliance and taking corrective action when needed.
• Create, manage, and support recognition and communication programs.
• Support all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all Associates.
• Partner with the management team to establish and maintain quality control standards.
• Develop performance goals and objectives to meet customer demand and ensure accuracy and quality.
