Job summary

Servicios Comerciales Amazon Mexico S. De R.L. De C.V. is seeking an Area Manager to own team development in a fulfillment center. You will lead, coach, and mentor a group of 50–100 Amazon Associates, guiding performance, attendance, and engagement while ensuring safety and quality standards.

As a servant leader, you will drive Lean-based improvements, coordinate with cross-functional teams, manage shift operations, and implement programs that sustain efficiency and customer-centric service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Experience in English-language communication skills, both written and verbal
• 3+ years of team leadership experience
• Work flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop a team of 50 to 100 Amazon Associates
• Communicate policies to Associates and act as the primary information source for the team, maintaining compliance, consistency, and taking corrective action when needed
• Create, manage, and support recognition and communication programs
• Support all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all Associates
• Ensure procedures are followed for building security and product loss prevention
• Partner with the management team to establish and maintain quality control standards
• Develop performance goals and objectives to achieve customer demand and ensure accuracy and quality
• Proactively identifying and leading process improvement initiatives and Lean tools
• Tactical leadership of strategic initiatives
• Cross functional coordination and task tracking
• Communications across various areas to ensure alignment of goals and tasks to guarantee the overall success of the program
• Strategic planning and forecasting to appraise performance and problem resolution
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
• Management and execution of cross-functional projects or components of large programs including data gathering, manipulation and analysis
