Job summary

R.H. Shipping and Chartering seeks a results-driven Sales Representative to drive freight forwarding sales, qualify leads, and close business with high integrity. You will build and manage relationships, coordinate with operations, and report KPIs to help achieve company goals.

You will engage customers in a fast-paced market, develop target lists, and present service solutions aligned with client needs. A commission plan supplements an attractive base, with hybrid work after probation.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma required; BS in Business (Preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of freight forwarding sales experience required.
• Proven freight forwarding track record of growing a book of business and relationships.
• Commission Plan and incentive structure; attractive salary according to experience.
• Savings Fund 10% and a Christmas bonus payable annually.
• SGMM and Dental Insurance provided; Hybrid Scheme after indefinite contract.

Responsibilities

• Develop sales of freight forwarding services to contribute to company growth.
• Call prospective customers in designated market area to qualify leads and explain services.
• Develop list of prospects from city directories and outreach efforts.
• Evaluate customer needs and make recommendations with integrity.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
• Manage and report key account metrics & KPIs.
• Coordinate with operations, branches, and corporate departments to service clients.
• Maintain ongoing contact with customers through sales process and obtain authorizations.
• Develop and execute a business plan to achieve sales quota and budget.
• Complete Cardone U Training daily and attend weekly sales meetings.
