Job summary

Revolut in Mexico is seeking a Financial Controller to oversee the local accounts for the Group FC. You will manage the monthly close, oversee GL movements, and collaborate with tax teams to ensure VAT/CIT compliance while supporting branch launches and automation initiatives.

The role requires 5+ years in accounting/finance, IFRS knowledge, and experience as an external auditor or senior controller. Large-organisation exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a related position.
• Experience as external auditor with some financial services industry experience, or as a financial controller or accountant in a large organisation
• Knowledge of local direct/indirect tax regulations in Mexico
• Solid understanding of IFRS standards

Responsibilities

• Managing the monthly accounting close process and bookkeeping while collaborating with the Shared Service Centre
• Overseeing month-on-month movements in the GL
• Collaborating with our Global Tax team on VAT and CIT filings
• Managing local audits and local taxation
• Supporting the launch of new branches
• Acting as the point of contact for all finance-related matters for the entity
• Leading automation projects
• Improving processes to boost the efficiency and accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting through both automation and control measures
