Job summary

American International Group, Inc. in Mexico City seeks a Finance Coordinator / Accounting Manager to oversee period-end close, balance sheet reconciliations and statutory reporting for Mexican entities. You will coordinate with FC and LT to ensure timely, accurate financial deliverables.

Responsibilities include supporting external audits, SOX testing, and maintaining strong internal controls while guiding a team of Controlling staff and collaborating with regional finance teams.

Qualifications

• Post-qualification experience in an accounting management role.
• Experience in Insurance industry is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and Local GAAP is expected.
• Experience with SOX and internal controls is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee period-end close and financial reporting for Mexico entities.
• Coordinate statutory reporting and external audits.
• Lead SOX testing and internal controls execution.
• Manage intercompany reconciliations and balance sheet schedules.
• Collaborate with FC and LT to ensure accurate financial deliverables.
