Job summary

Agilent Technologies Mexico is seeking a Field Service Engineer based in Toluca, Estado de México, to install, maintain and repair complex laboratory systems for customers in the region. You will work on-site, travel up to 50%+ (up to 75% travel per travel section), diagnose issues, calibrate equipment, and provide training.

Strong English, good communication, and ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy or a related scientific discipline.
Post-graduate, certification, and/or license may be required.
Valid driver's license with the ability to travel to customer sites.
Generally, requires minimal (up to 2 years) to no prior relevant work experience.
Willingness to travel up to 50%+ of the time.
Professional proficiency in spoken and written English.
Strong communication skills, customer service and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a field-based environment.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site installation, maintenance and repair of company and multi-vendor systems.
Install and optimize hardware/software/network products at customer sites.
Diagnose performance problems and perform maintenance.
Advise customers on preventive maintenance and configurations.
Respond to potential issues to prevent unplanned downtime.
Deliver integrated solutions and train field engineers or customers.
Collaborate with Support, Sales, Marketing and R&D to resolve issues.
Calibrate equipment on-site for large volume customers.
