Job summary

Citi is seeking an entry level Field Sales Team Lead in Puebla, Mexico to provide leadership and coordinate a team delivering sales support in alignment with Consumer Sales. The role focuses on delivering Citi client services and supporting sales targets across designated accounts.

The position requires strong communication, basic management skills, and a proactive approach to identifying cross-sell opportunities while ensuring risk controls and compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• Previous relevant experience preferred.
• Experience in financial sales, customer service and management required.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct performance evaluations, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions, and termination of team members
• Service existing accounts and establish new accounts at designated location or assigned geographical coverage area in order to increase revenue for the bank
• Proactively approach Citi clients to establish real needs, understand the client and their requirements, and interest them in Citi’s products
• Provide advice and product information to Citi clients as appropriate, outlining features and benefits
• Identify cross-selling opportunities to sell other products
• Achieve or exceed decided sales targets
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
