Bluelight is a leading software consultancy expanding its backend team in Mérida, Mexico. This role focuses on Elixir and the Phoenix framework to build high-performance APIs and scalable services.

Formación

• 3+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong Elixir and Phoenix framework experience.
• Experience with OTP, concurrent and distributed systems.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL.
• Experience with PostgreSQL (Ecto).
• Excellent communication and collaboration in an agile team.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain backend systems and APIs using Elixir and Phoenix.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements.
• Own features from conception to launch, including specs and release.
• Write unit and integration tests; participate in code reviews.
• Identify bottlenecks and optimize performance and scalability.
• Stay current with Elixir ecosystem and best practices.
