Bluelight is seeking a skilled Elixir backend engineer to join our rapidly growing team. You will design, build, and maintain high-performance APIs using Elixir and the Phoenix framework, ensuring scalability and reliability.

You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers, own features from conception to release, and contribute to a culture of continuous learning. Remote work and flexible hours are supported.

Formación

• 3+ years of backend software development experience.
• Strong Elixir and Phoenix framework proficiency.
• Experience with OTP, concurrent and distributed systems.
• Design and build RESTful APIs and work with PostgreSQL.
• Excellent communication and agile teamwork.

Responsabilidades

• Build & Innovate: Design, build, and maintain high-performance backend systems and APIs using Elixir and Phoenix.
• Collaborate: Work with product managers, designers and engineers to translate requirements into scalable services.
• Own Features: Take ownership of features from conception to release with technical specs and clean code.
• Ensure Quality: Write unit/integration tests and participate in code reviews.
• Optimize: Identify bottlenecks and improve performance, scalability and fault tolerance.
• Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with Elixir ecosystem and best practices.
