Job summary

Essity Higiene y Salud México, S.A. de C.V. is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Leader to guide the electrical maintenance function within the manufacturing unit, ensuring equipment reliability, safety, and quality compliance.

The role focuses on preventive/predictive maintenance, TPM initiatives, and developing the maintenance team's technical capabilities to drive downtime reduction and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation & Control, Robotics Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with PLC programming, industrial automation, robotics, SCADA, and HMI systems.
• Knowledge of industrial networks such as Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, and Sercos.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Previous leadership experience is a plus.
• Experience with SAP-PM, TPM, Lean Manufacturing, and Continuous Improvement methodologies is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops to standards and assures the team works to it (Safety, Quality, CL, CILs, etc.) and secures the availability of standard technical documentation.
• Lead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
• Ensure reliability and performance of electrical, electronic, automation, PLC, and robotic systems.
• Support downtime reduction through root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Manage maintenance standards, technical documentation, spare parts inventory, and budget control.
• Support capital projects and equipment improvement initiatives.
• Monitor maintenance KPIs and drive operational excellence.
• Coach, develop, and support the technical maintenance team.
• Promote TPM, Kaizen, 5S, FMEA, and other continuous improvement practices.

About the Role

As an Electrical Maintenance Leader, you will lead the electrical maintenance function within the manufacturing unit, ensuring equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and compliance with safety and quality standards.
