MAHLE in Ramos Arizpe, Mexico is seeking an Electrical and Controls Support Engineer to help ensure equipment availability and reduce downtime across production lines.

You will diagnose malfunctions, implement improvements, program and install automation equipment, and validate safety functions with on-site testing through production startup. Proficiency in PLCs/HMI, electrical diagrams, and English is required; degree in Electronic or Mechatronic Engineering is preferred.

Formación

• Degree in Electronic or Mechatronic Engineering (or a related field).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• General proficiency with PLCs and HMIs.
• Ability to interpret electrical diagrams.
• Project development and engineering changes.
• Intermediate level of English.

• Carry out tasks necessary to keep equipment operational to meet production plans.
• Efficiently and safely execute assigned projects and services to reduce or eliminate downtime.
• Program, integrate, and install automation or control equipment; validate safety functions; and conduct necessary on-site testing through production startup, ensuring compliance with client specifications
• Analyze equipment problems and/or failures to implement improvements or modifications (software/hardware) as needed, eliminating issues at the root cause

Your Contribution

As an Electrical and Controls Support Engineer you will be responsible for ensure the availability of all equipment by carrying out the necessary design and implementation activities to reduce unproductive downtime caused by unforeseen failures in the production chain and guarantee the productivity of the machining lines.

Your Main Activities Will Be

• Responsible for diagnosing equipment malfunctions.
• Actively participate in innovation by proposing improvement ideas.
• Carry out tasks necessary to keep equipment operational to meet production plans.
• Efficiently and safely execute assigned projects and services to reduce or eliminate downtime.

Your Experience & Qualifications
