Essity is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Leader in Ecatepec to drive reliability and efficiency in the manufacturing unit. You will lead electrical maintenance, implement preventive and predictive programs, and support TPM initiatives while developing the skills of the maintenance team.

The role requires a degree in Electrical/Mechatronics/Automation or related field and 3+ years in industrial maintenance with PLC/SCADA/HMI experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechatronics/Automation & Control or related field is required.
3+ years in electrical maintenance within manufacturing.
Experience with PLC, SCADA, HMI, and robotics systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead electrical maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability.

Manage spare parts inventory and maintenance budget.

About The Role

As an Electrical Maintenance Leader, you will lead the electrical maintenance function within the manufacturing unit, ensuring equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and compliance with safety and quality standards. You will drive preventive and predictive maintenance strategies, support TPM initiatives, and develop technical capabilities across the maintenance team.

What You Will Do

Develops to standards and assures the team works to it (Safety, Quality, CL, CILs, etc.) and secures the availability of standard technical documentation.
Lead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
Ensure reliability and performance of electrical, electronic, automation, PLC, and robotic systems.
Support downtime reduction through root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies.
Manage maintenance standards, technical documentation, spare parts inventory, and budget control.
Support capital projects and equipment improvement initiatives.
Monitor maintenance KPIs and drive operational excellence.
Coach, develop, and support the technical maintenance team.
Promote TPM, Kaizen, 5S, FMEA, and other continuous improvement practices.

Who You Are

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation & Control, Robotics Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
Experience with PLC programming, industrial automation, robotics, SCADA, and HMI systems.
Knowledge of industrial networks such as Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, and Sercos.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Previous leadership experience is a plus.
Experience with SAP-PM, TPM, Lean Manufacturing, and Continuous Improvement methodologies is preferred.
