Siemens Energy in Mexico seeks a senior engineering leader to manage a large distributed team on international erection and commissioning projects. You will ensure high-quality service delivery and build strong relationships with global customers.

You will recruit and develop talent, plan work safely and efficiently, and drive continuous improvement in a dynamic energy market. Leadership in a matrix, cross-cultural environment is essential.

Formación

• Experience leading a large distributed team in global projects.
• 3+ years in international or multicultural environments.
• Ability to motivate and build long-term relationships.
• Higher education in efficiency-oriented process or project management.
• Very good English in speech and writing; German is an advantage.
• Ability to establish and develop business relationships.

Snapshot Of Your Day

We are looking for a person who wants to take on a new role and manage an engineering team (over 10 people) in an international GS Solution (Erection & Commissioning) environment. This person will be responsible for ensuring the high quality of services provided in the field of installation and commissioning of Siemens Energy technological solutions on projects implemented around the world.

• Team building - recruiting new employees, developing their competencies and creating an optimal organizational culture.
• Effective planning of the department's work, ensuring work safety, business development and employee development.
• Cooperation with internal customers within Siemens Energy in the implementation of global projects.
• Participation in internal projects within the GS SO.
• Searching for new and innovative business solutions.
• Developing a team development strategy taking into account the current needs of the business and the dynamic development and changing conditions on the global energy market.

What You Bring

• Experience in managing a large team, including a distributed and diversified one, operating in global, optimally matrix structures.
• 3+ years of experience working in an international environment or multicultural teams.
• The ability to motivate the team and build long-term relationships.
• Higher education and experience in efficiency-oriented process management or project management.
• Very good knowledge of English in speech and writing (knowledge of German will be an advantage).
• The ability to establish and develop business relationships and knowledge of the process of employee secondment (this will be an additional advantage).
• Problem-solving skills, creativity, effectiveness in action, ability to act under time pressure and in a changing business environment.
