Siemens Energy is seeking a Service Engineer to support rapid growth of the 9000HL Gas Turbine fleet in North America and Latin America by delivering precise technical clarifications for spare parts, material numbers, and supersedures. The role focuses on rapid outage support, master data quality, and process improvements using digital tools.

• Maintain master data quality and update material master records in official systems.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve discrepancies and drive automation via digital tools.

A Snapshot of Your Day

To support the rapid growth of the 9000HL Gas Turbine fleet in the North America (NA) and Latin America (LA) regions, this role ensures business continuity and operational excellence for the LGT Service Business by delivering precise technical clarifications for spare parts, material numbers, and supersedures.

To address these critical business demands, the role focuses on three core areas: executing rapid technical clarifications for outages and quoting, maintaining high-standard master data quality, and driving process improvements through digital tools.

Given this specialized focus, the ideal candidate will possess a strong engineering background with 5+ years of experience in service engineering or product design, deep familiarity with advanced Gas Turbine fleets, and proficiency in SAP and data analytics tools.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• 60% Technical Clarification & Outage Support
• Provide accurate technical clarification of Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine, and Generator spare parts to support parts quoting, ordering, and logistics processes.
• Identify correct orderable parts, find technical alternatives, and locate material master numbers to reduce customer response times.
• Support and resolve critical, short-term outage demands and troubleshooting requests directly from site operations.
• 20% Data Quality & Master Data Management
• Ensure sustainable data quality by capturing engineering knowledge and updating official systems of record.
• Assist with material master data updates and the resolution of parts data quality issues in coordination with global teams.
• 20% Process Optimization & Collaboration
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, and suppliers to resolve technical discrepancies.
• Analyze requests for potential improvements and drive process changes or automation projects utilizing digital tools to enhance efficiency.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience as a Field Service or Commissioning Engineer).
• Minimum of 5+ years (8-10+ preferred) of experience in product design, service engineering, or order management, with exposure to advanced Gas Turbine product lines (e.g., 5000F, 8000H, 9000HL).
• Proficiency in English is required; German language skills are a plus.
• Experience with IT tools like Mendix, SAP, Snowflake, Tableau or Alteryx a plus.
