The ideal candidate has extensive IT/OT manufacturing experience, strong leadership, and exceptional stakeholder management within a multinational matrix organization.

A Snapshot of Your Day

To ensure business continuity within the Siemens Energy Grid Technologies Digital Services division, this leadership role is established in Mexico to drive the digital demand and strategy for switchgear manufacturing operations across Americas region (3 factories: USA, Mexico, Brazil). To address these strategic business aims, the role focuses on three core areas: digital demand management, strategic IT-business partnering for switchgear manufacturing plants, and team leadership of IT business systems analysts. Given the focus on manufacturing operations digitalization, the ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in industrial IT/OT environments, proven team leadership capabilities, and strong stakeholder management skills within a multinational matrix organization.

How You’ll Make an Impact

40% Digital Strategy & Demand Management

Translate manufacturing business strategies into actionable digital roadmaps and IT demand pipelines.
Evaluate, prioritize, and capture business requirements for digital solutions in switchgear manufacturing operations.
Align local and regional digital initiatives with global Siemens Energy Grid Technologies IT standards.

30% Team Leadership & Stakeholder Partnering

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of digital demand and business systems specialists distributed in Mexico, US, Brazil.
Act as the primary interface between manufacturing plant management and the Digital Services organization.
Manage stakeholder relationships across switchgear factories in Americas region to ensure alignment on digital priorities.

30% Solution Design & Implementation Governance

Oversee the governance and delivery of IT/OT projects, ensuring solutions meet manufacturing quality and efficiency standards.
Collaborate with software development and operations teams to guide the deployment of MES, ERP, and PLM integrations.
Monitor key performance indicators of digital solutions to ensure continuous improvement and business value realization.

What You Bring

Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2
Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Scrum Master (CSM)
ITIL Foundation Certification

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in IT business analysis, digital consulting, or manufacturing operations IT
At least 2-3 years of experience in a team leadership or supervisory role within a global or regional matrix organization

You will work closely with switchgear manufacturing leadership, Digital Services, software development, operations teams, and other cross-functional partners across Mexico, the USA, Brazil, and the global Siemens Energy organization.
