Responsibilities

• Material availability, inventory and cost objectives.
• Plan and issue Purchase Orders to suppliers, execute exception messages, and coordinate direct global shipments of parts.
• Follow-up or expedite material with suppliers to ensure needs met.
• Partner with sourcing specialist to monitor supplier levels and delivery performance; work with underperforming suppliers for improvement.
• Collaborate with sourcing specialist to improve supplier lead-time for inventory and customer service objectives.
• Analyze slow/ nonmoving/ excess inventory and take actions to optimize.
• Evaluate best shipment modes with Logistics to reduce logistic cost.
• Maintain delivery dates, quantities, and attributes of part numbers for raw material planning.
• Anticipate potential shortages and define corrective actions while informing promptly.
• Microsoft Office, MRP environments, APICS

• Analyze slow moving, nonmoving, excess inventory on a regular interval and take actions to assure inventory optimization.
• Work with Logistics and sourcing specialist to evaluate and determine best shipment mode to optimize logistic cost.
• Keep-up delivery dates, quantities, size, attributes of part numbers, purchase Planning parameters to obtain correct messages of raw material Planning.
• Anticipate any potential material shortage by performing a detailed and objective analysis of the root cause and defining corrective actions to minimize the impact while informing in a timely manner.
