Eaton Corporation in Mexico is seeking an applications engineer to provide engineering support for product lines, including development, design directions, and documentation for manufacturing and supply chain.

The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams, strong CAD skills, and the ability to contribute to continuous improvement. A bachelor’s degree in engineering and 2–5 years of hands-on design experience are required.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 2–5 years of progressive, hands-on design engineering experience in the relevant industry.
• High proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD).
• Strong communication and cross-functional teamwork.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Translate incoming order information into bills-of-materials and CAD drawings, including control schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Collaborate with manufacturing during new product introduction, assist and testers on technical issues.
• Participate in continuous improvement actions to increase productivity and quality.
• Analyze field problems that may require research into product and application history.
• Execute plan tasks and follow up on specific engineering activities to achieve goals.
• Maintain effective communication channels with engineering personnel.
• Increase Organization Capability by coaching and counseling Juarez engineering when applicable.
