Job summary

Qualcomm Incorporated is seeking an experienced DDR Validation Engineer to lead end-to-end validation of LPDDR5X/LPDDR6 memory subsystems across AI Accelerator and flagship mobile platforms. You will drive bring-up, training validation, and system-level debugging from pre- to post-silicon.

The role requires 5+ years in memory validation, strong C/C++, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure production-ready silicon across diverse product lines.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in EE, CE, CS, or related field.
• 5+ years in DDR/memory subsystem validation or silicon bring-up.
• Strong LPDDR4/5/5X/6 knowledge and post-silicon experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute DDR validation strategy across emulation, FPGA, and silicon.
• Lead LPDDR5X/LPDDR6 bring-up, training, frequency scaling, and power checks.
• Develop validation plans for memory functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Debug DDR controller, PHY, firmware, SI/PI, timing, and system issues.
• Validate interactions among DDR, CPU, GPU, NPU, and NoC with software.
• Drive bandwidth, latency, QoS, and AI workload characterization.
• Build scalable automation, regression infra, and debug analytics.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Design, Firmware, SI/PI, and vendors.
