LawnStarter is seeking a governance‑minded Analytics leader to own data trust and the roadmap across data platforms. You’ll lead data quality, lineage, semantic layer, and event tracking governance while partnering with product, marketing, ops, and finance to translate business needs into priorities.

The role is hands‑on with growth towards leading a team that scales data governance across the platform. Remote role with fully remote work options, you’ll shape standards, enable self‑serve

• You’re a hands-on manager who writes SQL, debugs pipelines, and configures permissions.
• You start from business decisions and translate asks into a prioritized plan.
• Automation-led mindset: build monitors for recurring checks instead of manual reviews.
• You enforce standards in a respectful way to keep data and processes compliant.

Responsabilidades

• Own the data roadmap by prioritizing business needs against platform health.
• Lead data quality and freshness monitoring across sources, pipelines, and reports.
• Develop data lineage, impact analysis, and data contracts with engineering.
• Administer Lightdash and ensure a self-serve, tidy workspace for stakeholders.
• Extend and govern the semantic layer to maintain a one-definition-per-metric standard.
• Govern Segment event catalog, naming standards, drift detection, and evolution.
