LawnStarter is seeking a security leader to own security end-to-end across our PHP/Laravel and TypeScript/React stack on AWS. You will set multi-year direction, build the controls, and partner with delivery and Cloud & DevOps to raise the security bar while the team grows under your leadership.

You’ll start hands-on as security-of-one, then scale to lead a small team within 12–18 months, focusing on threat modeling, tooling, and compliance across PCI, SOC 2, and LGPD readiness.

Formación

• Experience building security programs at scale across cloud and codebases.
• Ability to define multi-year security strategy and drive implementation.
• Strong collaboration with delivery, Cloud & DevOps, and engineering teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead security end-to-end across PHP/Laravel, TypeScript/React, and AWS infrastructure.
• Define multi-year security direction and build scalable controls and playbooks.
• Partner with delivery teams and Cloud & DevOps to implement secure by design practices.
• Start hands-on with a path to leading a small security team within 12–18 months.
• Automate security gates, runbooks, and threat-detection to reduce risk.
