LawnStarter is hiring an Analytics Engineer focused on data governance. You will own the data roadmap, maintain data quality, and ensure trust across pipelines, metrics, and reports. You’ll govern Segment events, manage Lightdash, and collaborate with product, marketing, ops, and finance to align data with business needs.

You’ll lead a hands-on, autonomy-driven effort, with plans to grow the team as scope requires. Fully remote work is available.

Formación

• Governance mindset with ability to define trustworthy data contracts.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with dbt, Airflow, and data warehouses.
• Experience building and maintaining semantic layers and dashboards.
• Familiarity with event tracking and data privacy considerations.
• Hands-on manager capable of SQL, pipelines, and permissions.
• Product-minded with ability to translate business needs into data priorities.

Responsabilidades

• Own the data roadmap across product, marketing, ops and finance.
• Ensure data quality, freshness, and upstream-change handling.
• Manage data lineage, impact analysis, and data contracts with engineering.
• Administer Lightdash workspace, permissions, and structure.
• Govern event tracking, Segment catalog, and guardrails for data.
• Partner with teams to scale governance and automation.
• Address data security and privacy requirements for the company.
