PayJoy in Mexico City seeks a Senior Analytics Engineer to own governance foundations and measurement platforms ensuring trustworthy data for rapid scaling. You will oversee the governance model, semantic layer, and experiment metrics to ensure consistent answers across teams and robust, auditable data practices.

The role requires 10+ years in data governance, strong modeling, and clear communication with cross-functional partners.

Formación

• Bachelor’s in a related field; Master’s a plus.
• 10+ years of experience in data governance or analytics.
• Deep governance expertise on modern lakehouse architectures like Unity Catalog.
• Expert data modeling with strong test strategy and semantics.
• Proven adoption driver across teams for standard data platforms.

Responsabilidades

• Own Unity Catalog governance including catalog, schema, tagging, lineage and ACLs.
• Define standards for trustworthy data, SLAs, and alert quality.
• Own semantic layer and conforming data definitions for consistency.
• Lead measurement and experimentation governance with Product Engineering.
• Deliver reusable enablement patterns for organization-wide use.
