Job summary

Turner & Townsend is a global professional services firm seeking a senior cost management professional in Mexico City to lead feasibility cost estimation, value engineering and procurement strategies. You will review designs at multiple stages, develop BOQ cost breakdowns and present results to clients and project teams.

The role requires 3+ years in cost management, a relevant Bachelor’s degree, and Fluency in English and Spanish. Occasional travel to sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in Engineering Cost Management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• RICS, AACE certifications/memberships.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Prepare budget estimates and BOQ cost breakdowns for feasibility studies.
• Review designs at Concept/SD/DD/IFC stages and produce quantity take-offs.
• Manage procurement, contracting strategies, and bid evaluations.
• Verify change control, value of change orders, and approvals.
• Ensure interim and final payments align with contracts.
• Lead cost management team and interface with clients/stakeholders.
• Prepare monthly cost reports and present commercial progress.
• Chair regular commercial meetings and capture lessons learnt.
• Ensure QAQC procedures are followed across deliverables.
• Occasional site/off-site travel if required.
