NXP Semiconductors in Mexico is seeking a technically skilled engineer to act as the primary technical contact for customers worldwide, supporting NFC, RFID, and Security solutions. You’ll blend product expertise with clear communication to drive design wins and faster time-to-market.

Join a collaborative team, contribute to documentation, and help customers develop their applications while reviewing schematics and PCB layouts for correct implementation.

Formación

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, or Electronic Information Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Embedded software/firmware development experience (minimum 3 years).
  • Proficiency in C programming; Java knowledge is a plus.

Responsabilidades

  • Provide highly technical support to customers worldwide for NFC/RFID and Security devices.
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and engineering teams to enhance offerings.
  • Review customer schematics and PCB layouts for design-in feasibility.
  • Develop and revise product documentation and FAQs; write Application Notes.
  • Assist in technical trainings and help customers develop their applications.

Besides, every interaction with NXP customer’s teams gives an opportunity to promote and position NXP’s product portfolio for new opportunities. As the technical voice of the customer inside NXP, the TIC actively brings feedback on technical items and supports requirements.In this role, you will be the primary technical point of contact for customers worldwide, helping them successfully use solutions built on NXP's NFC, RFID, and Security portfolio. You will combine deep product expertise with strong communication skills to drive customer satisfaction and accelerate time-to-market.Scope of ResponsibilitiesProvide highly technical support to customers worldwide designing with NXP NFC/RFID and Security devices via email, online tools, and phone.Become a recognized technical expert on NFC, RFID, and Security solutions within the Mass Market segment.Improve customer satisfaction by promptly following up on inquiries, issues, and complaints, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and engineering teams to enhance NXP's offering and the overall customer experience.Continuously expand your technical knowledge by contributing to:Development and revision of product documentation and FAQsWriting and reviewing Application NotesHelping within some technical trainingsHelping customer develop their applicationsReviewing customer schematics and PCB layoutsRequired Skills & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, or Electronic Information Engineering — or equivalent practical experience (minimum 3 years in a relevant technical role).Embedded software/firmware application development experience.Proficiency in C programming; Java knowledge is a plus.Good Linux and/or RTOS programming skills; embedded Linux experience is a plus.Solid knowledge of common embedded interfaces: UART, SPI, I²C, SDIO, USB, and network interfaces.Experience with ARM-based microcontrollers and/or microprocessors.Understanding of schematics and PCB layout review.Excellent English and Spanish communication skills, both verbal and written.Collaborative, proactive, self-motivated team player with a strong sense of responsibility and a creative problem-solving mindset.Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and drive results.Preferred SkillsExperience with NFC/RFID technologies or security products (e.g., secure elements, smart cards).Knowledge of antenna design and RF fundamentals (impedance matching, tuning, regulatory compliance).Experience with secure communication protocols (ISO 14443, ISO 15693, EMVCo, ISO 7816).Embedded Linux and/or Android application development experience.Knowledge of software design, coding, and testing best practices.Passion for building both technical expertise and support skills.#LI-FCC3More information about NXP in Mexico...#LI-fcc3
