Radiall is seeking an Applications Engineer to be the primary technical contact for customers, collaborating with engineering, procurement, manufacturing, quality, and sales teams across North America.

You will diagnose complex RF/microwave challenges, support product selection, develop documentation, and contribute to new product qualifications while guiding customers to reliable, high‑performance solutions for mission‑critical applications.

Formación

• 3+ years of relevant work experience with strong specialized knowledge
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively English and Spanish completely fluent
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills involving RF and microwave components
• Familiarity with RF/microwave fundamentals and S-parameters, insertion loss, VSWR
• Familiarity with multipin aerospace connectors and fiber optic interconnects

As an Applications Engineer at Radiall, you will serve as a primary technical point of contact for customers, working closely with their Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Quality organizations as well as Radiall's Engineering, Sales, Quality, Product Management, and Manufacturing teams.

In this role, you will help customers solve complex technical challenges by identifying, supporting, and implementing Radiall solutions across a broad portfolio of interconnect technologies, including RF/microwave products, multipin connectors, fiber optic solutions, cable assemblies, antennas, switches, and other advanced connectivity products.
Working closely with the Business Development team, you will support strategic customer engagement and contribute to long‑term business growth by providing technical leadership, enabling successful product adoption, and helping customers develop reliable, high‑performance solutions for mission‑critical applications.
You will support customers across a diverse range of industries — including aerospace, defence, space (including new‑space ventures), industrial, telecom, and emerging technology sectors such as quantum computing — enabling reliable, high‑performance systems and critical infrastructure applications.

• Serve as a primary technical resource supporting customers and the Business Development team throughout North America.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding product selection, applications, specifications, performance, and technical capabilities across Radiall's product portfolio.
• Coordinate and deliver technical documentation, including datasheets, drawings, specifications, qualification reports, compliance documentation, and application notes.
• Support assigned new product development activities by collaborating with R&D, Product Management, Manufacturing, and Quality to evaluate concepts, provide customer application feedback, validate product performance, and assist with product qualification.
• Assist customers with product selection, cross-references, application guidance, and recommended solutions based on customer requirements.
• Work closely with Engineering, Product Management, Quality, Manufacturing and Sales to coordinate timely and accurate responses to customer technical requests.
• Support customer product evaluations, qualifications, first article activities, and new product introductions.
• Troubleshoot customer technical issues related to product selection, installation, assembly, manufacturing, and field applications, coordinating with subject matter experts as needed.
• Execute quoting and related functions accurately within SAP (MRP system).
• Maintain accurate records of customer technical activities and ensure customer requests are tracked through resolution.
• Identify opportunities for product range expansion, product improvements, and emerging customer application needs, communicating those opportunities to the Business Development and Product Management teams.
• Support customer meetings, technical discussions, product demonstrations, distributor training, trade shows, and internal technical collaboration activities as required.
• Translate customer technical requirements, quality expectations, and application challenges into actionable information for Radiall's Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Product Management organizations.

Know the requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering

• Intermediate-Level: 3+ years of relevant work experience with a strong level of specialized knowledge
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively English and Spanish completely fluent
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills involving RF and microwave components, coaxial connectors, cable assemblies, passive RF devices, and high‑frequency interconnect systems.
• Working knowledge of RF and microwave fundamentals, including S-parameters, insertion loss, return loss (VSWR), isolation, impedance matching, and signal integrity is preferred.
• Familiarity with multipin aerospace connectors, EWIS, fiber optic interconnects, optical cable assemblies, active optical solutions, and other electromechanical connectivity technologies is preferred.
• Familiarity with engineering drawings, technical specifications, schematics, qualification documentation, manufacturing processes, and industry standards
