Dematic's Technical Support group is seeking a Controls Engineer to diagnose and resolve issues on complex integrated hardware and software systems while supporting customers remotely.

You will work with Allen-Bradley Logix PLCs, Siemens/Modicon plc, perform electrical troubleshooting, and travel 10-20% to customer sites, including weekends and overtime when needed.

Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years in customer service support required; strong communication and independence are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3–5 years of experience in customer service support.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley Logix PLCs.
• Experience with controls hardware troubleshooting.
• Siemens and Modicon PLC experience a plus.
• Electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Strong customer service mentality.
• Strong verbal communication skills over the phone.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to in shifts.

Responsabilidades

• Participates in the support of complex systems that integrate hardware and software.
• Provides support in complex material specification, schematic troubleshooting and appropriate follow-up.
• Participates in recommending ideas related to productivity improvement, cost reduction and improvement in customer satisfaction.
• Provide troubleshooting expertise to Dematic's customers.
• Travel between 10-20% to different customer locations which may include weekends and overtime.
