Dematic seeks a Controls Engineer to join its Technical Support group, Customer Service. The role centers on diagnosing and isolating issues in material handling systems via schematics and PLC logic, with remote interaction with customers.

You will troubleshoot complex systems, review schematics, and provide recommendations to improve productivity, reduce costs, and increase customer satisfaction. Some travel is required (10–20%), including potential weekends and overtime.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience providing Customer Service Support.
• Experience with Allen Bradley Logix PLC controls platforms.
• Experience with controls hardware troubleshooting.
• Siemens and Modicon PLC experience is a plus.
• Electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Customer service mindset and communication skills.
• Strong verbal communication over the phone.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to work in shifts.

Dematic has a need for a Controls Engineer in Dematic's Technical Support group, Customer Service. The successful candidates will have experience working in the material handling industry and directly working with customers remotely using schematics and PLC logic to find and isolate the issue.

This is What You Will do in This Role:

• Participates in the support of complex systems that integrate hardware and software.
• Provides support in complex material specification, schematic troubleshooting and appropriate follow-up.
• Participates in recommending ideas related to productivity improvement, cost reduction and improvement in customer satisfaction.

• Provide troubleshooting expertise to Dematic's customers.
• Travel between 10-20% to different customer locations which may include weekends and overtime.

Tasks and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a related field providing Customer Service Support.
• Experience with Allen Bradley Logix PLC controls platforms.
