A leading technology firm is seeking a dedicated Controls Engineer for L1 commissioning in the field across various customer sites on the East Coast. Responsibilities include setting up IP addresses for VFDs, verifying device communications to PLCs, and performing basic edits. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and proficiency in Rockwell PLCs, with experience in automation and field service. This role requires travel with a 10 days on, 4 days off schedule.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related field.
• Proficiency with Rockwell PLCs and field service.
• Knowledge of VFDs and conveyor systems required.

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Controls Engineer to perform L1 commissioning in the field at various customer sites throughout the East Coast. This role involves remote I/O checks, setting up IP addresses for VFDs, verifying device communications to PLC, and performing basic edits to PLCs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct L1 commissioning at different customer sites on the East Coast.
• Set up IP addresses for VFDs.
• Verify device communications to PLC.
• Perform basic edits to PLCs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s Degree
• Proficiency with Rockwell PLCs
• Knowledge of VFDs and conveyor systems
• Experience with automation and field service

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with HMI
• Familiarity with device communications

Travel and Work Schedule

Travel to customer sites throughout the East Coast, following a 10 days on, 4 days off schedule. Work will be conducted in the field, with meetings often held via MS Teams. You will have the opportunity to support major clients.
