Eaton is seeking a CRM Accounting Supervisor to lead the GFSS accounting processes in Mexico and oversee a team of professionals. The role covers monthly closings, journal entries, and compliance with US GAAP and SOX, while ensuring accurate financial reporting and intercompany processes.

The ideal candidate brings strong English skills and hands-on experience with ERP systems like Oracle or SAP, and a proven ability to manage projects and audits in a multinational environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in general accounting and supervising teams of 5+ people.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Experience with MRP and Oracle or SAP.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and SOX.
• Ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects, including intercompany processes.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and supervise the GFSS accounting processes and coordinating the supporting team.
• Handle monthly closing process; review and approve journal entries.
• Maintain SOX and Internal Audit compliance as required.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reviews.
• Supervise the year-end Mexico compliance and financial reporting.
• Coordinate Internal Control Audit and Statutory audits with external firms.
• Oversee treasury, intercompany processes and ledger accuracy.
• Ensure timely expense reporting and accurate electronic accounting records.

Eaton's Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a CRM Accounting Supervisor.

What you’ll do:

Responsible to lead and supervise the Accounting Processes for the GFSS, including management and coordination of supporting team. Conduction of the monthly closing process, review and approve journal entries, Maintain SOX and Internal Audit compliance as required. Perform monthly balance sheet reviews. Supervise the year-end Mexico compliance and financial reporting. Manage and champion ad hoc projects as needed.

• A. Supervise the monthly closing process including OTC, PTP and RTR
• B. Coordinate the Internal Control Audit and Statutory Audits with the external audit firms
• C. Treasury, Grid Note & ZBA. Review correct recording in Operational and Corporate ledgers.
• D. Ensure process T&E expense reports
• E. Electronic Accounting. Support and give information in time and form
• F. Develops the financial function and personnel into customer-oriented professionals.
• G. Review performance metrics and give feedback to employees in time and form (1:1)
• H. Ensures that ethical standards are maintained in a manner that accrues maximum benefit to Eaton.
• I. Provides guidance on training and education of accounting professionals in the area.
• J. Maintain safe, clean working environment, dauly 5´s and use of CI tools

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent.
