Job summary

DP World in Mexico City seeks an exceptional Director of Business Development to lead the growth of our Contract Logistics portfolio across Technology and Consumer sectors. You will drive new business, engage C-level executives, and shape complex opportunities into long-term partnerships.

This high-impact commercial leadership role requires a true hunter who can open doors, build strategic relationships, and guide RFPs, tenders, and negotiations to win large contracts.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of creating business where there was no existing relationship.
• Experience opening doors at the executive level and building C-level relationships.
• Ability to close large and strategic contracts in long, sophisticated sales cycles.
• Experience in Contract Logistics, 3PL, Supply Chain Solutions, Technology, Consumer, or related industries.
• Advanced English is required.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute the new business growth strategy.
• Develop strategic relationships with C-level executives.
• Originate and close complex, high-value logistics opportunities.
• Lead strategic RFPs, tenders, negotiations, and commercial processes.
• Build value propositions around ROI, TCO, automation, technology, visibility, and transformation.
• Partner with Operations, Solutions, Engineering, Finance, and Legal to structure winning solutions.
• Build a high-quality pipeline focused on new logos and strategic accounts.
• Identify emerging Supply Chain opportunities within Technology and Consumer.
