Genesis Management LLC. is seeking a Collections Specialist — U.S. Collections (Advanced English) in Polanco, Mexico City, for a full-time role.

The position focuses on recovering delinquent U.S. accounts from a dedicated recovery team, requiring clear English communication and proven negotiation skills. You will manage a lead queue, contact customers by phone, text, or email, and set up payment arrangements while aiming to exceed monthly collection goals.

Formación

• Advanced English proficiency with strong speaking and writing skills.
• 1+ year of U.S. market collections experience in a call center.
• Proven ability to negotiate and collect on delinquent accounts.
• Solid skills in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsabilidades

• Own a lead queue of U.S. accounts to contact by phone, text, or email to set up payment arrangements.
• Negotiate payment plans and settlements that get results while treating every customer with respect.
• Handle inbound and outbound calls with confidence, using active listening and smart call control.
• Respond to customer texts and emails with professionalism, speed, and flawless spelling and grammar.
• Resolve problems and de-escalate conflicts like a pro.
• Collaborate with a specialized, tight-knit collections team.
• Meet — and beat — monthly collection goals and KPIs.
• Work in full compliance with the FDCPA and all U.S. state and federal regulations.

What You’ll Bring

- Advanced English proficiency — strong, demonstrable speaking and writing skills (this role works exclusively with U.S. customers)

• 1+ years of U.S. market collections experience in a call center
• Experience with 1–365 day delinquent accounts and an understanding of charge-offs
• Proven ability to negotiate and collect on delinquent accounts * — this is the heart of the role
• Creativity and resourcefulness when working with delinquent customers — latitude to find solutions
• A competitive, results-driven mindset — you like to win, and it shows in your numbers
• Coachability — you welcome feedback and follow through on your commitments
• Adaptability to effectively deal with different personalities and the ability to stay cool under pressure
• Solid skills in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook, plus the ability to juggle multiple platforms at once
• Discretion with confidential and compliance-related information
