Job summary

BlackLine in Mexico City is seeking a Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain backend services in the cloud, delivering high-quality releases to customers. You will work with RESTful APIs, microservices, and modern DevOps practices.

You’ll collaborate across teams in an agile environment, review code, optimize performance, and explore new tools. A strong foundation in C#/Java/Python, cloud platforms, and secure coding will help you succeed.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of backend languages: .NET, Java, or Python.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and backend services.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise in design, development, and delivery of BlackLine’s products, adhering to timelines and quality.
• Design, develop, test, troubleshoot, debug, optimize, scale, maintain and improve software applications.
• Implement, refine, and follow software development techniques to ensure features meet performance, security, and maintainability expectations.
• Research, test, benchmark, and evaluate new tools and technologies for product development.
• Maintain high standards of software quality and technical excellence within the team.
