BlackLine is seeking a Software Engineer to deliver high‑quality releases by designing, developing, and maintaining cloud‑based backend services. You will collaborate across teams to build features, optimize performance, and ensure security and reliability.

You will work in an agile environment, participate in code reviews, and contribute to architecture discussions, focusing on scalable solutions and continuous learning.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience with backend languages: .NET, Java, or Python.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Hands-on with cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure) and infra-as-code.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform.
• Experience with SQL databases and data warehouses.
• Active use of AI coding assistants.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, test, debug, optimise and scale software applications.
• Collaborate on code reviews, specs, and test plans.
• Implement best practices for performance, security, and maintainability.
• Evaluate new tools and technologies and recommend adoption.
• Maintain high standards of code quality and maintainability.
• Identify bottlenecks and advocate for improvements.
• Carry out maintenance, deployment and release support.
