Project Management Institute in Mexico is seeking an entry-level Chapter Operations Analyst I located in Mexico (or Colombia). You will support regional stakeholders and collaborate with chapters on policies, bylaws, and governance to ensure effective chapter operations.

You will monitor performance using data from the Chapter Reporting System, assist in event design and delivery, and act as a liaison between chapters and Customer Care, with up to 25% travel. Proficiency in English is required.

Formación

  • Must be located in either Mexico or Colombia.
  • 1-3 years experience administering processes for dispersed geographic groups and governing documents (bylaws, policies).
  • General knowledge of association laws and general practices (Anti-Trust, UBIT Tax, Non-Profit Classifications) preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with all levels of staff, global customers, volunteers in varied committee structures, and external organizations.

  • Support chapters in designing and delivering engaging events.
  • Apply PMI Chapter Charter process and administer Charter renewals.
  • Coordinate between chapters and Customer Care on complex matters.
  • Ensure volunteers' information is accurate and updated.

How will you make a difference to PMI?

PMI is looking for an entry-level Chapter Operations Analyst I who is located in either Mexico or Colombia. You will support regional stakeholders as assigned, and collaborate with chapters regarding policies, procedures, and bylaws amongst other important operational areas to ensure each chapter is fully capable of operating at the most effective and efficient level possible. Conduct satisfactory service levels between PMI and chapters.

What You’ll Bring To The Role
  • Reviews, revises, and recommends chapter policies and identifies process improvements to ensure a stronger chapter operation.
  • Partners with Chapter Engagement Partners to help support successful implementation and adoption of new programs and services targeting chapter leader growth and development.
  • Serve as a resource for chapters and mentors to effectively manage governance issues and questions, addressing and resolving issues when appropriate and escalating to department leadership as needed.
  • Utilizing data from a variety of sources, such as the Chapter Reporting System, monitor and report on overall performance for assigned regions
  • Support chapters in the successful design and delivery of relevant and engaging events.
  • Apply PMI Chapter Charter process, including monitoring of core processes to ensure timely, accurate, and complete flow of information. Approve PMI Chapter Charters as appropriate, administer the Annual Chapter Charter Renewal program, including in regular status reporting.
  • Serve as a dedicated resource between chapters and Customer Care to effectively respond to complex matters that span multiple departments.
  • Ensure accurate and current volunteer information as well as quality assurance checks, updates and feedback with volunteers and staff. Participate to support volunteer role descriptions, system tools, messaging and training.
  • Review, respond, and approve PMI Chapter by-laws submissions, coordinating with appropriate internal stakeholders to ensure compliance and legal standing within PMI policy.
  • Participate in and contribute to the policy manual development, process updates and documentation, and associated templates, as well as related department operating procedures.
Role Qualifications
  • MUST be located in either Mexico or Colombia
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or other related field preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 1-3 years experience administering processes for dispersed geographic groups and governing documents (bylaws, policies).
  • General knowledge of association laws and general practices (Anti-Trust, UBIT Tax, Non-Profit Classifications) preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with all levels of staff, global customers, volunteers in varied committee structures, and external organizations with a track record of positive long term outcome-based relationships.
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple concurrent tasks and commit to time-sensitive deliverables
  • Successfully handle ambiguity while still executing assigned responsibilities in a rapidly changing environment
  • Experience of working in an agile, dynamic, and customer-centric environment
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in the business language for PMI (English)
  • Travel up to 25%
