One Mobility seeks a PMO Governance Manager for the Americas to lead project governance, reporting, and process improvements from Mexico (Ciudad Juárez or Comonfort). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliant, efficient project delivery in electrified mobility and automotive initiatives.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in project management/PMO in automotive, English proficiency, and certifications such as PMP/IPMA.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• PMP or IPMA certification preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in Project Management/PMO in automotive.
• Experience using MS Project Professional.
• Experience with automotive Core Tools: FMEA, PPAP, APQP, CP.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement project governance frameworks to align with objectives and regulations.
• Establish and maintain project reporting mechanisms for stakeholders and leadership.
• Lead project reviews and internal audits to ensure governance compliance.
• Design, implement, and improve project management processes for efficiency.
• Drive implementation of new processes with training and capacity planning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and improve delivery.
• Standardize PMO standards across the organization per industry standards and regulations.
• Review and update standards with technology and industry trends.
• Collaborate with PMs, PLM, and cross-functions to align requirements.
• Provide training and support to project teams on PM methodologies.
• Track and analyze performance metrics and implement improvements.
• Present performance reports to senior management.

We are looking for

PMO Governance Manager (Americas)

at our locations in Mexico - Ciudad Juárez or Comonfort, Gto

Your tasks:

• Develop and implement project governance frameworks to ensure projects align with organizational objectives and comply with industry regulations.
• Establish and maintain project reporting mechanisms, providing regular updates to stakeholders and leadership.
• Facilitate project reviews and internal audits to ensure compliance with governance standards.
• Design, implement, and continuously improve project management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Actively drive and support the implementation of new processes, defining communication, training needs, and capacity recommendations for affected Cross—Functions and Business Segments.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to streamline workflows, reduce bottlenecks, enhance project delivery, and incorporate lessons learned and feedback into continuous improvement initiatives.
• Standardize and enforce project management standards across the organization, ensuring alignment with industry standards (IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, APQP), PMO process standards, regulatory requirements, and automotive project management best practices.
• Regularly review and update standards to reflect advancements in technology, industry trends, and organizational needs.
• Collaborate with project managers, the PLM organization, and other cross‑functions to understand project requirements and align processes accordingly.
• Provide training and support to project teams to ensure consistent application of project management methodologies and adherence to standards.
• Track and analyze project performance metrics, identify trends, areas for improvement, and process‑related risks, and implement appropriate countermeasures and performance improvement initiatives.
• Prepare and present performance reports to senior management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and improvement actions.
• Foster a culture of innovation, efficiency, and continuous project management improvement within the PMO and across the organization.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. PMP or IPMA Project Management Certification preferred.
• Professional Experience: 5+ years of experience in Project Management, PMO, or a related role within the automotive industry; experience applying Project Management Methodologies; experience using MS Project Professional; experience with automotive Core Tools, including FMEA, PPAP, APQP, Control Plan (CP), and related methodologies.
• Languages: English – Strong proficiency (written and verbal).
• Soft Skills: Strong teamwork and collaboration skills. High level of accountability and ownership. Inclusive and decisive thinking. Proactive, flexible, and adaptable approach. Basic people management capability.
• Preferred Qualifications: Understanding of automotive industry standards and processes. Experience working in cross‑functional and international environments. Familiarity with IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, APQP, and automotive project management best practices.
