HQ Platinum in Monterrey, MX is seeking a Carrier Relations Representative to coordinate shipments with carriers and ensure timely status updates throughout the transportation process. You will support daily operations by confirming carrier availability, accurate shipment details, and smooth handoffs.

The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish, has a bachelor’s degree in logistics or related field with 3 years of logistics experience (or 5 years in logistics/transportation), and

• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics; 3 years of logistics experience OR 5 years in Logistics/Transportation.
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-up and problem-solving.
• Proficient with computers and relevant software.

Responsabilidades

• Shipment Assignment & Coordination: Assign shipments to available carriers and confirm equipment, driver, and schedule details.
• Carrier Communication: Coordinate with carriers regarding ETAs, transit status, availability, and shipment updates.
• Issue Resolution: Address delays, mechanical issues, no-shows, and other operational incidents.
• Document Validation: Review and correct basic documentation issues before dispatch.
• Record Maintenance: Keep operational and shipment records accurate and up to date.
• Capacity Planning: Coordinate with Customer Service and carriers to ensure sufficient weekly capacity.
• Carrier Availability & Quotes: Coordinate carrier availability, support weekly capacity negotiations, and process spot quote requests when applicable.
• Other Responsibilities: Performs other related activities or projects as delegated.

Salary: $20,000 MXN gross per month + $1,000 MXN monthly grocery vouchers + major medical insurance

Position Summary

As a Carrier Relations Representative, you will be responsible for coordinating and maintaining communication with carriers to ensure the proper assignment, confirmation, monitoring, and completion of shipments. This position will support daily transportation operations by ensuring carrier availability, accurate shipment information, timely status updates, and proper follow-up throughout the transportation process.

Main Responsibilities

• Carrier Communication: Coordinate with carriers regarding ETAs, transit status, availability, and shipment updates.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required.

• Detail-oriented and committed to providing timely follow-up.
• Computer savvy with working knowledge of relevant software.
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication abilities with aptitude in problem-solving.
• Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of previous experience in logistics is required. Or 5 years of comparable experience in Logistics/Transportation Industry.
