Responsibilities

• Conduct timely follow-ups through appropriate outreach channels.
• Maintain accurate candidate records in CRM/ATS.

Job Overview

Our client is seeking a Candidate Sourcing & Outreach Specialist to support talent operations across the United States and Germany. In this role, you will combine candidate sourcing from job descriptions with outbound calls to recently signed-up candidates, helping them understand how the company works and ensuring a consistent, professional candidate experience.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, flexible schedule during Pacific Time business hours (coverage extending until 8:00 PM PT preferred); Full-time, 8 hours a day. Note: Optional weekend coverage may be available by mutual agreement.

Responsibilities

• Source and identify suitable candidates based on job descriptions and role requirements.
• Use AI sourcing tools and other recruiting platforms to find candidates efficiently and at scale.
• Review candidate profiles, assess initial fit, and prepare relevant profiles for internal review.
• Call recently signed-up candidates and clearly explain the platform, process, and opportunities.
• Confirm candidate interest, availability, preferences, and alignment with potential roles.
• Manage an existing candidate backlog while processing new daily sign-ups.
• Conduct timely follow-ups through the appropriate outreach channels.
• Maintain accurate candidate records, activity notes, statuses, and next steps in CRM, ATS, or tracking systems.
• Share feedback on candidate quality, outreach responses, and sourcing challenges.
• Work closely with the team to improve sourcing quality, response rates, and candidate engagement.

Requirements

• 25 years of experience in recruitment, talent sourcing, candidate outreach, talent operations, or a related sales or outbound role.
• Experience supporting US-based startup candidate outreach or recruitment.
• Strong spoken English communication skills for US-facing calls.
• Experience using AI sourcing tools, recruiting platforms, ATS or CRM systems, dialers, or outreach tools.
• Comfortable conducting frequent outbound calls and explaining a company or service clearly and professionally.
• Strong organization and follow-through, with the ability to manage both backlog work and new daily tasks.
• Able to work independently, follow priorities, and adapt in a fast-moving startup environment.
• Strong attention to detail when documenting candidate conversations and updating records.
• Reliable internet connection and suitable equipment for full-time remote calling and sourcing work.

• Software, technology, startup, or technical recruiting experience.
• Consultative communication style and the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Experience explaining career opportunities, recruitment processes, or technology products.
• Strong judgment when assessing candidate fit and readiness.
• Comfortable receiving feedback and improving outreach scripts and workflows.

• Reduce the existing candidate backlog while consistently processing new daily sign-ups.
• Produce relevant candidate shortlists from job descriptions using efficient sourcing methods.
• Complete candidate calls and follow-ups with clear, professional communication.
• Accurately document candidate conversations, interest, availability, and next steps.
• Establish a reliable, repeatable workflow that can scale with candidate volume.
