Job summary

ABB in Mexico's San Luis Potosí is seeking a Procurement role focused on electrical commodities. You will purchase materials per technical specs, price, delivery, and terms, while ensuring adherence to corporate purchasing policies.

You will initiate POs, track delivery, monitor supplier performance, and align orders with SOP/project requirements. The role involves evaluating frame agreements and collaborating with the category team to optimize sourcing strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar procurement role.
• Experience with electrical commodities is required.
• Proficient in SAP and strong English language skills.

Responsibilities

• Initiate purchase orders in the system per requisitions.
• Monitor supplier delivery and performance against PO requirements.
• Align supplier orders with customer requirements per SOP/project rules.
• Recommending frame agreements and obtaining approvals.
• Track goods receipt and invoice processing.

Each day, you will ensure purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures.
