ABB in Monterrey is seeking a Procurement Specialist to lead local sourcing of indirect materials and services onsite at Monterrey 3.0. You will implement procurement standards, monitor supplier performance, and support RFQ/RFP processes to meet business needs.

You will also update SAP data, optimize costs, and drive continuous improvement across purchasing and logistics activities, partnering with internal stakeholders to ensure reliable supply and compliance.

Formación

• 2–5 years of professional work experience
• Knowledge of indirect materials and services
• Proficient with MS Office; SAP knowledge is an asset
• Strong written and verbal English communication

Main stakeholders are maintenance, warehouse, manufacturing, HSE.You will be mainly accountable for:Supporting in implementing effective local sourcing strategies in line with business strategy to meet current and future business requirements.Designing and implementing plans and effective strategies for local sourcing of indirect products/materials/services to reach business targets.Updating data in SAP system (PIR, Price, Lead time, MOQ, etc)Monitoring on time delivery of materials.* Executing purchasing and logistics strategies to support the business by optimizing costs, quality, and reliability of suppliers and supplied products.Applying and implementing procurement standards, tools, and processes in your area of responsibility to secure quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability.Cooperation with Purchasing - In cooperation with purchasing develop supplier relationships, purchasing to manage supplier daily performance.
