Job summary

ABB in Apodaca, Nuevo León, is seeking a Category Manager to oversee procurement and logistics activities for local sourcing. You will implement and maintain purchasing strategies, collaborate on supplier development, and ensure cost, quality, and delivery targets are met.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in procurement, experience with copper/aluminum suppliers, RFQ processes, and advanced English, with ERP SAP experience and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, industrial or related engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in procurement roles such as procurement specialist or senior buyer.
• Experience with direct purchases; copper and aluminum suppliers.
• Familiarity with cost breakdown or 'should-cost' tools and RFQ processes.
• Experience in SAP, Excel and Power BI; advanced English.
