Nextshore is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for a 100% on-site role in Mexico to support a real estate client in the United States. The position requires fluency in English and Spanish and a strong background in US-based accounting practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with a solid understanding of accounting principles.
Experience in US-based accounting roles, preferably within the real estate sector.
Proficiency in major accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Office.
Fluent in English and Spanish for effective communication with diverse teams.
Prior experience with property management software (Entrata) is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Accurately process, verify, and reconcile invoices related to goods and services.
Maintain up-to-date financial records and ensure timely payments to vendors and suppliers.
Collaborate closely with Nextshore and client teams to ensure streamlined financial operations.
Implement and adapt to new accounting software and technologies to optimize workflow efficiency.
Assist in financial reporting and support month-end and year-end closing processes.
