REA.co is seeking a remote Real Estate Accounting professional based in Mexico to assist with monthly bookkeeping, A/P and A/R, and month-end close under senior bookkeepers. You will support client communications and property setup tasks while contributing to timely reporting and deadlines.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance, 2+ years in real estate accounting, and strong Excel skills, with fluency in English and Spanish, and a readiness to learn and grow in the field.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 2 years of experience in real estate accounting/finance.
• Solid understanding of real estate accounting principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (English and Spanish).
• Willingness to learn and grow in the real estate accounting field.
• Familiarity with communication and collaboration tools (Slack, Clickup, Workspace).

Responsabilidades

• Assist with monthly bookkeeping tasks, including bank reconciliations, A/P, and A/R.
• Support client communication and inquiries under senior bookkeepers.
• Contribute to month-end close and report generation.
• Assist with new property set-ups, move-outs, owner draws, and management fees.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure timely completion of tasks and deadlines.
