Job summary

Role: Mexico Accounts Payable Accountant in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Tijuana. Handles Mexican AP processes, ensures timely payments, and maintains strong vendor relationships.

Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, at least 3 years in AP, knowledge of Mexican regulations, CONTPAQi proficiency, and advanced Excel skills. English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in general accounting or AP.
• Experience with Mexican accounting standards and regulations.
• Experience in a public accounting firm is a plus.
• Strong Excel skills including Pivot Tables and lookup functions.
• English proficiency at least 70%.

Responsibilities

• Process Mexico-based accounts payable invoices and approvals.
• Maintain vendor records and reconcile accounts payable.
• Support monthly closings and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements in Mexico.
• Coordinate audits and safeguard internal controls.
