Job summary

Klar is seeking a senior leader to own the end-to-end B2B collections strategy in Mexico City, balancing delinquency management with customer experience. The role demands hands-on leadership of analytics, operations, and external partners, driving improvements across recovery metrics.

The position is based in Mexico City with a hybrid model (2–3 days in the office). You will collaborate across Product, Data, and Engineering to deploy automation and AI-enabled processes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in collections, credit operations, lending, or related field.
• Experience leading collections operations, including B2B portfolios.
• Advanced English level and strong analytical capabilities.
• Experience managing external collection agencies, BPOs, or other partners.
• Ability to work with Product, Data, and Engineering to implement improvements.

Responsibilities

• Define and own end-to-end B2B collections strategy across delinquency stages, segments, exposure, risk, and recovery.
• Drive improvements in delinquency, roll, cure, and recovery rates; optimize communication, payment reminders, and restructuring options.
• Build and optimize operating model for B2B collections; manage external agencies and partners with SLAs and negotiations.
• Develop analytical framework to identify portfolio trends, root causes, and bottlenecks; translate into actionable strategies with measurable targets.
• Lead a high-performing collections organization with clear ownership and development plans.
