Job summary

Levi Strauss & Co. is seeking a hands‑on Platform Specialist to support Azure cloud infrastructure and Windows/Linux servers in production. You’ll join a global Cloud Operations team and drive reliability, security, and automation across enterprise platforms.

The role emphasizes incident management, patching, runbooks, and IaC, with collaboration across engineering, cybersecurity, and service management teams in a hybrid or on‑prem environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.
• Five+ years of experience in systems administration, infrastructure operations, cloud ops, or similar.
• Three+ years of hands‑on Azure production experience.
• Experience supporting Windows Server and/or Linux environments.
• Solid cross‑platform knowledge and troubleshooting skills across enterprise environments.
• Experience with server patching, vulnerability remediation, and compliance follow‑through.
• Experience with IaC and automation using two or more tools (Terraform, Bicep, ARM, Ansible, GitHub, Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Knowledge of Azure compute, storage, networking, monitoring, and governance.
• Strong English written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Own day‑to‑day operational health, availability, and performance of Azure infrastructure and Windows/Linux services.
• Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server and Linux systems in Azure and hybrid environments.
• Monitor platforms with enterprise tools; investigate alerts and capacity indicators.
• Lead or co‑own technical response to production incidents including RCA and remediation.
• Plan and execute patching and vulnerability remediation with validation and rollback when needed.
• Develop and maintain IaC and automation with Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, Ansible, Python, or PowerShell.
• Maintain automation code, runbooks, and address configuration drift.
• Participate in deployments, migrations, platform upgrades, and maintenance windows.
• Collaborate across globally distributed teams in a follow‑the‑sun model.
