Job summary

PHINIA Inc. in Juárez, Sonora region, seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and continuous improvement of automated systems and machinery in the plant.

You will drive uptime, safety, and efficiency through strongest practices. You will lead and develop a team of technicians and engineers, create and manage maintenance schedules, monitor performance metrics, control inventory and budgets, and ensure rigorous documentation and compliance with quality standards to support

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electromechanical or Mechatronics Engineering or related field.
• 5 years of experience in maintenance management within an automated manufacturing environment.
• IATF Requirement expertise.
• Experience with Kistler press, Helium leak test, Siemens PLCs, and HMI systems is required.
• Advanced certifications in automation or maintenance management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance schedule for all automated systems and machinery.
• Ensure timely and effective maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
• Oversee troubleshooting and repair of automation equipment including robotics (Kistler press, Helium leak test, Siemens PLCs, and HMI systems).
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of maintenance technicians and engineers.
• Continuously assess and improve the performance of automated systems and identify upgrade opportunities.
• Ensure safety compliance and conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
• Manage inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies; develop and manage the maintenance budget and supplier negotiations.
• Document maintenance activities and report metrics to senior management; ensure compliance with documentation standards.
