Job summary

Johnson Controls seeks an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead a multi-shift team in a manufacturing setting in Nuevo León, Mexico. You will drive preventive, predictive, corrective, and TPM activities, using CMMS to manage work orders and ensure safety and reliability across production lines.

You will collaborate with production and engineering, manage spare parts, and champion Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives to minimize downtime and optimize uptime.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing people in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience supervising a maintenance team in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• Ability to lead a multi-shift operation and coordinate work across competing priorities.
• Strong technical aptitude and working knowledge of maintenance processes and equipment reliability.
• Experience with CMMS systems and disciplined work order management.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to communicate clearly with technicians, operations partners, and leadership.
• Strong problem-solving, organization, and follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance personnel and coordinate work across shifts to support production needs.
• Plan, assign, and follow up on preventive, corrective, predictive, and autonomous TPM maintenance activities.
• Use the CMMS to manage work orders, prioritize tasks, and track maintenance execution.
• Support troubleshooting and resolution of mechanical, electrical, and automation-related equipment issues.
• Monitor equipment performance, downtime, and uptime trends to improve reliability and production efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and operational procedures.
• Work with production, engineering, and other departments to schedule maintenance windows and minimize disruption.
• Support spare parts, tools, contractor labor, and maintenance resource coordination as needed.
• Participate in Kaizen, lean, and root cause problem-solving activities to eliminate recurring issues.
• Assist with capital project planning, equipment upgrades, and implementation activities.
• Maintain clear documentation and communication on maintenance status, priorities, and follow-up actions.
