Job summary

CobaltoTalent is seeking a Dedicated Senior Controller to oversee the financial health of US-based SMEs, leveraging AI to automate data processing, forecast cash flow, and deliver insightful reports. The role demands strong accounting expertise and strategic thinking in a fully remote LATAM setup.

You'll lead month-end close, build AI-enhanced financial models, manage cash flow forecasting, and coordinate with external CPAs for tax and compliance, while communicating clearly with executives.

Qualifications

• 4-6+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, or as a Controller.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and experience with US-based clients.
• Experience using Generative AI tools to write financial summaries or automate spreadsheets.
• Hands-on experience with cloud accounting platforms (QB Online, Xero, NetSuite) and their AI/automation integrations.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1) with executive communication and presentation skills.
• High integrity, autonomy, and drive to modernize financial workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes for US-based businesses.
• Use AI tools to analyze large datasets and generate narrative reports on performance.
• Develop rolling cash flow forecasts and AI-enhanced financial models and budgets.
• Oversee AI-driven OCR and AP/AR automation to improve efficiency.
• Prepare monthly financial packages (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) for executives.
• Collaborate with external CPA firms for tax and compliance.
