Job summary

CobaltoTalent is seeking a Dedicated Senior Controller (AI-Enabled) to oversee financial health for US-based SMEs. You will leverage AI to automate data processing, forecast finances, and provide strategic insights from complex datasets.

Preference for strong accounting expertise, AI fluency, and experience with cloud accounting platforms. This is a 100% remote role serving LATAM with a US client base.

Qualifications

• 4-6+ years in FP&A, corporate finance, or as a Controller.
• In-depth US GAAP knowledge with US-based clients.
• Experience using Generative AI tools for financial summaries and Excel automation.
• Experience with cloud accounting platforms and their AI integrations.
• Advanced English (C1) with strong executive communication.
• Integrity, autonomy, and drive to modernize financial workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close for US-based businesses.
• Use AI tools to analyze large datasets, identify spending anomalies, and generate narratives.
• Develop rolling cash flow forecasts and budgets with AI-assisted forecasting.
• Oversee AI-driven OCR and AP/AR automation to streamline invoices.
• Prepare monthly P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports for leadership.
• Collaborate with external CPA firms for tax compliance.
